Worlds Apart - Clean Slate

CLEAN SLATE is the fourth offering from WORLDS APART (the previous three all being Perris Records releases). Melodic hard rock is the order of the day in the style of Dokken and Europe.

Worlds Apart have been going for some time now and have crafted their radio friendly sound well. They are big on vocal harmonies which I adore and they do them so well on this release. Original guitarist Ritch Cedillo came back to the fold and now Worlds Apart have their original line up consisting of Jay Davids (vocals), Ritch Cedillo (guitars), Gary Silva (drums) and JAS (bass). The CD was produced and engineered by JAS and features a collection of songs which capture the bands live sound.

There are some great songs on offer, nice riffs, catchy choruses, great rhythm and some almost Aerosmith style grooves in places on Center Stage.

I would definitely recommend you to check out Worlds Apart as Clean Slate offers a fine listening experience. This CD would be good blaring out with the roof down while the sun shines!
