Punk is very much alive with WHO SHOT WHO and their debut album ONWARDS & UPWARDS.
Short and fast is the order of the day with this album with witty intelligent lyrics.
Opening track A Call To Arms reminded me very much of Conflict. No Treaty No Mercy has a passing nod to The Prodigy with some excellent electronic beats underpinning the whole track.
There is something decidedly Macc Lads about Things That Go Bump In The Night which is due to the vocal style but it's all good though, not something to worry about.
Who Shot Who manage to create a fantastic punk sound that is distincively British, very listenable and crosses between serious and humourous topics. There aren't actually bad tracks on this album at all. Onwards & Upwards is punk rock through and through so if that's your bag then you won't regret picking this up.
