This CD took me flying back to the late 80s/early 90s but all in a good way. Def Leppard and Whitesnake style radio friendly melodic rock is the order of the day here.
As you will probably know from my reviews, I do like big choruses and this CD certainly doesn't disappoint on that front. Big riffs and big choruses are stamped on every song.
Stand out tracks:
'Walking On Thin Ice' - this should be a summer single!
'Let It Die' - fantastic vocal harmonies and a funky riff.
'Nobody's Happy' - a wonderful ballad.
It's very brave to produce
an album like this in this day and age but they pull it off successfully and
I would expect it to be well received. It might hark back to the days of rock
first getting regular media play but it sounds so fresh that it deserves to
do well.
