Those first important 30-40 seconds left me a little bewildered and unimpressed, I'd been expecting something astronomical and I started to think this was gonna be another one of those demos I'd really struggle to listen to. This first impression however, was shot to the ground faster than a tribal drumbeat and I soon realised it wasn't the band that were crap; it was purely and simply terrible production!
It's a shame to say the least as first impressions last in the music industry and these guys deserve so much more.
The demo consists of five
raw, trashy tracks, each containing a snippet of influence from some of those
better-known bands of the late 80's/early 90's (i.e. Cherry Bombz, Alleycat
Scratch, (early) Poison, Faster Pussycat), a scorch of New York Dolls and even
some of those not so well known bands (i.e. Gutter Queens, Young & Fabulous).
I find the one thing that stands out the most, is that they've combined experience
and influence, unleashing a wrath of energy and style that will have even the
guys drooling. This is band not to miss if you like it trashy and slutty!
