friendly rock by numbers. This is a very radio friendly single that will no
doubt do well in the charts. Unfortunately it doesn't really have a killer edge.
I liked the female operatic style backing vocals.
Lyrically the song is pretty intellectual dealing with the way English society has broken down and makes a change from the usual "pop rock by numbers" that seems all to common these days.
I came in with no pre-conceived ideas about this, I quite liked Busted and am not really familiar with other Fightstar material so had an open mind. I have no doubt that this will keep Fightstar up there in the popularity stakes and certainly shows that Charlie Simpson still has a lot of songwriting talent.
My only criticism would
be that it lacks any real get up and go.
