Released in July this year, Reborn in Fire is described by its label, 7Hard, as melodic power metal. It’s a compilation of nine tracks fronted by eight different vocalists accompanied by fast-paced guitars, speed drumming, symphonic melodies, power ballads and guitar solos.

The sort of music I’d expect to hear leaking from my teenage son’s headphones. If Dragonforce style riffs and pace is your thing then you’ll probably like this album.
