Here's yet another Swedish glam/sleaze band. Just what is going on over there? The four tracks on display here show typical Swedish quality. Great guitar riffs and memorable choruses are the order of the day and I'm a big fan of the slightly fuzzy production which lends everything a retro air and makes a change from the razor sharp polish of many of their contemporaries even if it's a million miles away from the in your face production on their first demo.
I can't make up my mind
about vocalist Robert Lindell. He's got a great rock'n'roll voice and sounds
not unlike Udo Dirkschneider. However, I can't shake the feeling that it's more
suited to in your face straight ahead metal (more akin to their first demo).
My favorite track is Bad Blood (Outta Love) - a mid tempo rocker with aspirations
to be a Bon Jovi number but the others are also above average and certainly
worth you hunting down. Given the differences between this EP and their first
demo it's certainly going to be interesting to hear what the band are up to
by Phil T.
