Bangalore Choir - On Target

BANGALORE CHOIR's classic ON TARGET CD gets dusted off for the re-issue treatment.

Bangalore Choir's sound is like a blend of Whitesnake (circa 1987) and Aerosmith at their most funky. On Target is a very listenable CD with some great riffs and choruses although it is hard to shake off the Whitesnake feel which, unfortunately makes this release sound a little dated.

David Reece has a fantastic voice and although he also sounds like Whitesnake's David Coverdale, which doesn't really help the band stand on its own given the musical style (bizarre fact, Reece did the vocals on Accept's Eat The Heat album when singer Udo Dirkschneider's solo career took off). Drums and bass are supplied by former Hericane Alice rhythm section Ian Mayo and Jackie Ramos with guitar duties being performed admirably by Curt Mitchell and John Kirk.

If you liked the hair metal days of Whitesnake then you will love this CD. It's a great CD
