According to frontman Jizzy Pearl, Ratt will be playing at least two shows this spring/summer, including a May 13 date at Win River Casino in Redding, California (on a bill also featuring Warrant, Great White and Firehouse) and a June 17 concert at Kewadin Casino in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Pollstar.com has Ratt playing another show at Kewadin Casino on June 10 and a gig on the Mesa County Fairgrounds in Grand Junction, Colorado on September 8. Pearl recently addressed the rumors of his departure from Ratt and a possible reunion of the band's "classic" lineup (featuring frontman Stephen Pearcy) by saying, "My 'status' in Ratt hasn't really changed. It hasn't changed since I first started hearing about the supposed 'reunion' four years ago. Every year around the time of the NAMM show it starts - big plans, big money. I don't want [the reunion with Pearcy] to happen for selfish reasons but at the same time if it happens, I wouldn't be shocked either. I did tell everyone my status in Ratt; it is unchanged." Enuff Z'Nuff have replaced former Ratt frontman Stephen Pearcy on the billing of this year's "Rock the Boat", a two-day floating rock festival travelling between Oslo, Norway and Fredrikshavn, Denmark. Back in November in Massachusetts, someone fired a weapon at him that shattered a window on his tour bus, and a similar thing happened last week, when a window in his car was shot out while he was driving in Los Angeles. Michaels told Launch that he hopes anyone with information on what's happening will come forward. "I'd like to believe it's random, but it's getting pretty scary at this point," he said. "And I'm not a fearful person of much of anything - meaning I'm not a person that lays down and says, 'That's it. I'm not doing nothing.' But at the same time, this is also my family, my daughters - there's a lot of other people involved - so anything that would lead to any information would be very helpful." Michaels has no idea who's behind either shooting incident, but he told us that there's one person who's been under scrutiny for quite a while. "The FBI's been investigating a guy by the name of Mark Kram," he said. "We cannot figure out who this is, because obviously it's his name spelled forward and backwards. They've been investigating that since the early '90s. And we've gotten so many death threats, and they've become weirder and stranger over time, so it's pretty scary." If anyone has any information, Michaels asks that you send it in through his website. Poison released a new greatest-hits set this week called "The Best of Poison: 20 Years Of Rock", which includes their cover version of Grand Funk Railroad's "We're An American Band".
