Ginger also has the
following message for UK based voters: "There are elections in the UK on
10 June. I urge you not to waste your vote on any of the candidates that fail
to represent you. NHS funding hasn't been increased, and people are sitting
in hospital beds awaiting treatment, while others need those same beds. Ken
Livingstone, the bastard behind the Congestion Charges, is the local representative
for London too. A fiver is nothing to pay in theory, but if you forget to pay
due to other commitments in life, or can't find a bleedin' outlet and don't
own a credit card, the fine is upped to £40 at 10pm that same day. I haven't
found one person that takes the money over the phone that believes this is fair.
If that isn't enough reason to NOT vote Labour, then think of this? Who else
you gonna vote for? You could not vote at all, but isn't that a waste getting
swept under the carpet marked 'voter apathy'? Your other alternative is to make
the effort to go and vote, but spoil your ballot paper - mark it as 'None of
these candidates will represent me' for instance. That way we can voice our
dissatisfaction with the system we've had foisted upon us. Pass it around"
The first installment
of Ginger's journal from the last US tour is online.
Updates with the rest of that tour will be made over the next few days

Tesla Bassist,
Brian Wheat told Newt Briggs of the Las Vegas Mercury that although the are
touring with Poison, it doesn't warrant any comparison between the two bands
musically. "We didn't write songs about fucking our old lady in the back
of the car," he explained. "We might have done it, we just didn't
write songs about it. As for those that want to lump the group into the 'hair
band' era" he added, "Without sounding arrogant or anything, I don't
really think we were like those bands. You know, we've kind of unfairly been
lumped in that category, but we were far from a glam band. If anything, we were
a blues-based rock band like Led Zeppelin or Bad Company"

this is a great cause"

Peter Criss has slammed Gene Simmons over his allegations that Criss' drug and
alcohol abuse is the reason Criss is no longer a touring member of the group.
Criss said: "Some people love hearing themselves talk, Gene Simmons is
one of them. I read online what he said to the Iowa and German press. Now let
me tell you what's really important. I have never been so happy in my whole
life. I can finally be free to be an artist again. I surround myself with people
who love me and respect me. My endearing and supporting wife Gigi, true friends,
and a loving family, and always God. If not for him there would be nothing.
These are things that make me a rich man, Mr. Simmons. I sang and drummed my
heart out on the Aerosmith tour, FACT. The really fans know that, END OF STORY.
And I also missed Ace on the tour. I am in excellent health, wealthy and working
on being wiser. I just wanted you fans to know that. I won't even comment on
what Mr. Simmons had to say, because it's NOT TRUE, and I don't need to justify
his lies. The original band is over. And as a founding member I am not shocked
at Gene and Paul turning a legendary band into a cover act for just plain profit,
How very sad. But the crazy thing is? The fans will still follow because they
are the real heart of KISS. I was proud to be a part of something that was once
great. God Bless and good-bye to that part of my life."
