The Darkness have asked for a £1million fee (approx. $1.8 million) to
play this year's Glastonbury Festival, according to NME.com. The figure is a
far cry from the £75 (approx. $136) they were paid to play their Friday
morning opening set last year. Today festival organizer Michael Eavis told the
Daily Mirror: "It's incredible how much things change in a year. When we
booked them last year they were just a pub band no one had heard of. We paid
them £75 but they were thrilled to be given the opportunity." A source
close to The Darkness told the Daily Mirror: "To play Glastonbury this
year, they'd want £1million. The way they see it, they'd worked long and
hard to get where they are and feel entitled to make the most of their success"

'High Chaparall'
on the Swedish TV channel 'Kanal
5', launched its second season on 15 March with a one-hour
special on Motley Crue vocalist Vince Neil, an hilarious portrayal of the
rock star that rivals 'This is Spinal Tap' as a rock 'n' roll comedy. The show
follows co-hosts as they enter the Spanish Hills community, Las Vegas where
Vince Hill lives with his fiancée. Vince's parents arrive and the whole
family are interviewed. When asked if he's ever tried Viagra, Vince says, "I
took one once and blew through $15,000 on hookers. It was in Atlantic City."
Describing himself as "the last hold-out" and expressing no love for
Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee or Mick Mars, the singer confirms that Motley Crue will
indeed reunite. "2005 and 2006 I'm putting away for Motley, because negotiations
are getting closer and closer. I think it will be a good way to close it"

Gene Simmons has posted the following message on his official web site: "I
was offered a cameo on ABC-TV's '8 Ways To Raise Your Daughter' the show that

Sweden on the 28th and 29th of March, Oslo, Norway on the 30th, Cologne, Germany
on the 31st and April 1st, Milan, Italy on the 2nd and 3rd (perhaps England,
