The Crash Moderns are about to start announcing 2010 spring tour dates in support of their brand new EP, “In Case You’re Listening”. Having come to the conclusion that their old tour van “needs to be put out to stud”, they are asking for your help as their financial state is a little bleak. “Believe us, any little bit you may be able to contribute will help get us back out on the road to a venue nearest you, which is where we wanna be. So we thought about this long and hard and came to the conclusion that we should treat this like a TV game show of sorts, with tons of cool TCM merchandise and other never before attempted prizes to show our gratitude to you for your support. The recent Firefest Line Up Announcement has produced the mouth-watering prospect of not just one, but four M.E.P.R. promoted bands appearing at the event in Nottingham’s Rock City on October 30th and 31st. Bangalore Choir and the award winning Grand Design will feature on the Saturday, with Grand Illusion and Stage Dolls featuring on the Sunday

Chris Laney will be playing at Stockholm Rocks Out on April 30th with Slaughter, M.ill.ion, Keel and Great White

Bangalore Choir’s first album “On Target” will see its re-issue next month, on April 26th with a special re-mastering job from Martin Kronlund in Sweden. The album now includes a video clip of the song “Loaded Gun” and 10 glorious moments of Hair Metal history. David Reece is expected on hand to do interviews very soon whilst the band themselves are putting the finishing touches to a new album due later this year

Despite the silence The Stuff is still very much a going concern BUT… “We are now unmasked and naturally the truth is never as glittering as the illusion. But we really really wanted to start playing live and the rat heads are just impossible. We’re starting slowly doing some Swedish gigs this spring and summer, hopefully doing a sweep down to Germany, then doing a more high profile tour in the autumn when our new album (yes!) will finally be released”

Envy on the Coast began streaming “The Great American T-shirt Racket” a new song from the album on their PureVolume.com profile page. Norwegian sleazy punk ‘n’ rollers Slömber have now released their new music video for “Corvette Widow”. This is the first video from their well-received debut “Dirty Drinks & One-Night Stands”. Check it out here

Despite the fact that ESP came out with 22 new guitars at the recent NAMM Show, there’s no stopping them when they’re on a roll. Announced this week for their Spring 2010 collection, six new guitars and five new basses joined the LTD line. Enter Shikari are set to join A Day To Remember, August Burns Red and Silverstein on the North American TOURSICK tour starting March 30th in Ft Lauderdale, FL. A number of dates are already sold out. The band will then join the Vans Warped Tour from June 24-July 18th. Common Dreads is available digitally in the United States via the band’s own imprint Ambush Reality in partnership with DGC/Interscope Records. The physical release will be available in all Hot Topic stores beginning April 13th. Fans can also purchase the album at all shows as well as from the band’s merch store

You Me At Six are currently on their biggest tour to date, and are set to release their new single ‘Liquid Confidence’ on April 19th on Virgin Records, so again the quintet bring you a new video to cast your eyes over. The single is taken from the band’s recently released second album ‘Hold Me Down’ that debuted at #5 in the charts

The Smoking Hearts recently released their debut album Pride Of Nowhere to rave reviews. The band has booked up some additional dates around the record’s release. Storming out of rural England, The Smoking Hearts unleash a whirlwind combination of relentless punk rock and cutting rock’n’roll that is best experienced in the flesh so check out the full list of dates here

Bowling For Soup will be performing the Crappy Records/Oglio Records Showcase during the legendary 2010 SXSW Music Festival! BFS have also just announced that they will be holding court during the Crappy Karaoke session after their showcase, featuring the talents of KFlay, Parry Gripp, Linus of Hollywood, Big Bang and other surprises

Converge has announced a headlining summer tour in support of 2009′s critically acclaimed album Axe To Fall. The dates will include headlining shows as well as the summer festival appearances, including Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Øyafestival in Norway and Eurockéennes Festival in France. Alberta Cross have just uploaded a video for the disarmingly soulful ‘Old Man Chicago’. Taken from last year’s critically acclaimed debut album ‘Broken Side of Time’, the video for stand-out track ‘Old Man Chicago’ was filmed at various locations including LA’s infamous Viper Rooms and the beautiful Catskill Mountains, just outside New York. British punk pioneers GBH have posted “Kids Get Down” – a brand new song from the upcoming album “Perfume and Piss”- on their MySpace page. The band that just signed with Hellcat Records will release their eleventh studio album on April 5th

2010 marks the 30th anniversary of quintessential Los Angeles punk rock pioneers Bad Religion and the band will kick off their European celebration at Groezrock in Belgium on April 24th, followed by a big list of festival and headlining club shows throughout the summer. As part of the celebration of three decades of groundbreaking music, the band has announced plans to record a live album, 30 Years Live (during their upcoming spring 2010 House of Blues tour in the US) and offer it as a free “thank you” to loyal fans. Hell City Glamours have been on an enforced holiday for a couple of months due to some idiot in the band convincing someone else in the band that skateboarding was a good idea… this in turn led to one broken elbow and two months no rock ‘n’ roll.They are giving away free signed copy of the new single to the first 5 people who guess which idiot it was and who broke their elbow! SPiT LiKE THiS have confirmed that they are set to record their second album with Grammy® Nominated producer Chris Tsangarides. Chris Tsangarides is one of the most respected and successful producers in the history of rock and heavy metal, having produced albums for Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest and Thin Lizzy. Recording starts at Chris’s Ecology Studios in Dover on 5th July 2010. A website will launch nearer the time to document the whole process

Motion Picture Soundtrack have uploaded a video to go with the LAXX remix of their single, ‘Glass Figures’. The original version of single ‘Glass Figures’ is taken from Motion Picture Soundtrack’s debut album ‘The Shapes We Fear Are Of Our Own’. The LAXX remix, played on Radio 1 by Kissy Sellout, can be seen/heard here
