We totally encourage you to go the various websites, fanzines and magazines to check out the full reviews. If you haven’t ordered it yet, click HERE for a direct link to buy it. We’ll sign any copies you want, of course and again, this album is ONLY available right from us and NO WHERE else! Placebo capped a brilliant 2009 in Berlin by scooping the award for Best Alternative Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards. The band beat off stiff competition from Paramore, The Prodigy, Muse and The Killers to pick up the prize, which is just reward for their constant touring and brilliant new album “Battle For The Sun”. As the end of the year closes in, the upcoming tour is the perfect chance to see the band do what they do best and show just why they are worthy winners of the award as they play dates in December, including the O2 in London, which is set to be the highlight of an already breathtaking live calendar

Obsessive Compulsive are currently out on tour, and in-between gigs will be recording their debut full length album on their own DIY label Vociferous Records “we’re working extremely hard to make it a success, it’s insane and scary taking it to this level on a DIY budget and mentality, we’re learning new stuff every day, and making tons of mistakes too probably, but we’re giving it our all and we really hope you’ll all buy a copy when it finally hits the shops in around March 2010”

In a display of generosity, Enter Shikari offers to the world a free download of the previously unreleased ‘radio mix’ of album track ‘Wall’. Originally remixed by ‘Common Dreads’ producer Andy Gray specifically for radio promo use, the track was deemed too different and of interest to fans to remain locked away, but too similar to the original to have the cheek to charge cold hard cash for. So, instead, it’s being offered out as a free download for anyone that wants to take it. The track can be found here

Brighton based Bad for Lazarus are the new noise-merchants to watch out for. Pitching their violent pop in an ungodly realm somewhere between Buddy Holly and Slayer, their sound straddles a wealth of punk, hardcore, Motown and doo-wop influences whilst maintaining a self defined mission to write simple yet brilliant songs. ‘Old Rats on a New Ship’ is their debut single and is to be released on November 30TH through the band’s own label, Shit Chic, and is backed with b-side ‘Kemptown Animals’
