The New Generation Superstars machine is back in action and ready to hit the road next week with Love/Hate and Ricky Warwick! “Raising The Stakes” was released on August 2nd, the album is available to by from the website, Myspace, Amazon.com, Play.com, and all the usual web stores including i-Tunes. NGS are nominees in the JPF American music awards, which will be hosted in Nashville on the 25th August. NGS are nominated for best Rock Album “Crash Course…” and best rock single, “Come Over”

Here’s To Tragedy EP “In the Shade of the 14th” Launch This Thursday at the Victoria Inn, Derby, UK. Also on the bill are Skies In Motion and Riot Promotions favourites Plastic Toys and Disarm. Bowling For Soup announces the release of their tenth studio-effort, ‘Sorry For Partyin’’ on A&G Records in the UK. The Denton, TX natives return with their new single and video ‘My Wena’ that showcases their one-of-a-kind brand of fun-pop/punk. The single will be available as the lead track on an EP to be released on September 28th. The Membranes, the eighties post-punk noisenik band fronted by John Robb, have been asked to reform for All Tomorrows Parties – The Nightmare Before Christmas gig on December 4th by hosts My Bloody Valentine. The Membranes back catalogue will be remastered and re-released to commemorate this event and they are looking at festival offers coming in from the round the world

From their highly-anticipated debut album ‘Broken Side Of Time’ (out September 21st), Alberta Cross are set to release ‘ATX’ as a single on September 14th. The video for the single is culled from live footage of the band’s recent performances at the Coachella and Bonnaroo festivals, plus last month’s two appearances at Brixton Academy. After releasing the skuzzy wedge of pop that is single ‘OCD Go Go Girls’ last week, Wichita punks Lovvers have now released their debut LP, ‘OCD Go Go Go Girls’. Those of you based in London can check the band out live on Wednesday to make your own minds up. They’ll be playing for free in store at Pure Groove at 1:15pm and then later heading up to Stoke Newington to play Barden’s Boudoir.
