Drugdealer Cheerleader News “First big thing we need to let you know is that due to some admin error our .com site is currently offline but have no fear you can still hear and see your favourite pop rock punk n roll doodz on the site and on myspace. The other big thing is that because of this daft computer nonsense our e-mails are also not working! Some of you have been asking about the single ‘Gimme Some Love’, the release date is being finalized as we speak and we’ll let ya have the news as soon as we know. We’ll be doing some dates to coincide too so if you’ve spotted any current dates, this is not the ‘big tour’. So… bass players then. Well after the stint with us on the road Laney had a great time but since he’s a ‘bass whore’ he’d already booked himself out with D-Generations’ Richard Bachus! So that unfortunately ruled him out on his ‘filling in’ duties with us. Now what???  Well let’s say we have a couple of irons in the fire and whatever happens we WILL be on tour with a new bassist in a couple of weeks… temporary? Permanent? Male? Female? We can’t say right now. Other news is that our London show will be FREE entry! That’s right FREE!  But what this means is that you’ll need to get there early or stand a chance of missing out. Any donations at the door will be given to the Fire Brigade in recognition of their brave efforts keeping us safe from the flames last time around

Rob Lane (Teenage Casket Co.) will be back out on tour from next Thursday playing bass for Richard Bacchus & the Luckiest Girls, all over the UK! Richard was one of the founding members of the influential New York band D-Generation who also spawned singer songwriter Jesse Malin. Check out his myspace for tour dates (support from The Dangerfields)

2008 Austin Music Award nominees the Krum Bums will once again be taking their Punk/Metal crusade on the road this Spring. The tour kicks off in Pittsburg on 25 April and wraps up in Richmond on 9 May. Currently the Krum Bums are working on material for their next album, and planning vinyl reissues of their first two records. For the latest band news, visit the Bums on their myspace or check out their recent feature in the Austin Chronicle
