FW Music Store have greatly reduced the number of in-stock items on order. After months of supply delays with both their main suppliers (one for lack of volume on FW’s part, the other a mystery to them until recently) they have decided this is for the best, as some of you have been kept waiting a lot longer than usual for some items. They have recently learned that one of these two main suppliers was bought out last Summer and the new owners have essentially caused the company to not work so well, slowing deliveries down a grind before eventually firing all the staff. They don’t know whether it was bad management or on purpose, but it means that there are still some of your orders out there unfulfilled – especially titles of Scandinavian origin. Those of you in that unfortunate situation will be compensated, though: they will contact you directly over the coming week and offer you a list of in-stock titles to choose from – and you will have a credit that is twice the worth of your original order. This is their way of apologizing for the stock delays situation, and also invite you to check out some of the FW label and FW Artist Collective titles; if of course you prefer a refund they will process those via paypal as a last resort – but they ask that you stick with them through these hard times, discover some new music, and use the credit as creatively as you want throughout 2009
