As already reported Z Rocks have been working hard to stage a event this year on the other side of the pond. The final details are just being finalised but they can confirm that the event will be staged in Toronto Canada during August and so far 3 bands are confirmed. They hope to make a full announcement soon. Plus Club Z Rock will open its doors on Friday March 6th. Make sure your there for the grand opening it will be a night not to be missed. Wednesday 13 is pleased to announce that Glamour of the Kill will be joining the UK portion of the upcoming tour. “This was a difficult tour to book. We knew that this was going to be the last tour overseas for 2009 so we had to do something special. From the beginning, we knew that we wanted to take out The Chelsea Smiles. Those guys put on such a good rock n roll show and our fans should love them. I had been going back and forth trying to decide on the next band to join us. Our agent mentioned Glamour of the Kill and after checking them out and seeing how good they are doing on their own, without support from any label, I decided they would be the perfect fit”. Overseas Wednesday 13 will be releasing his Bloodwork EP on March 16th, the same day The Chelsea Smiles will be releasing their long-awaited self-titled sophomore full length. After this tour, Wednesday 13 will be taking a break from this band to concentrate on his southern project Bourbon Crow

Thursday have announced a European Tour in April 2009. The tour, which is set between April 11th and April 19th, will take them through six European countries and the majority of the shows will be part of the “Give It A Name” travelling festivals, with Taking Back Sunday, Underoath, Innerpartysystem and Thursday’s label mates Escape The Fate. Thursday will be touring in support of their highly anticipated new album, Common Existence, due out on February 16th on Epitaph. MAEVEN from Sheffield recently signed to Lock Jaw Records. They also just got a whopping 4xKKKK review in Kerrang, with kerrang hailing them ‘The New Queens of UK Punk’

On Thursday, Feb 12th, 2009, The Crash Moderns will be performing a benefit concert for suicide prevention and awareness for the movement Flipside at The Canal Room in NYC. Flipside is the start of a movement to save artists, fans and friends. Presented by Rebel Spirit Music and The One Love all proceeds from the night will go to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Doors open at 7:30pm and The Crash Moderns will be hitting the stage at 8pm sharp. This show is 18+. Admission is $10 with all money going to the Foundation. On Feb 16th, they’ll be kicking off their winter tour as promised. The east coast is their first stop in a non-stop tour of the entire US. Bulletboys have announced the first leg of the Road To Nowhere 2009 Tour. The guys will kick off the tour in El Paso, TX on February 21st at Take II with very special guests Swirl. Swirl will support the Bulletboys on this leg of the tour. The Bulletboys will be performing new material from the forthcoming new release titled 10¢ Billionaire as well as all the favourite hits and classics . Nasty Idols to unleash their fifth studio album “Boys Town”, a collection of songs dripping with Crue style grit, Backyard Babies like swagger and excellent vocal from vocalist Andy Pierce released March 30th. Pierce is upbeat about the new record (which includes the approved Lords Of The New Church hit “Method To My Madness”) and is promising the same sex, drugs and rock and roll chaos that followed the band throughout the early 1990’s.
