The past few weeks have been a busy time for Bubblegum Slut Fanzine and they have a couple of pieces of news to publicize, first off, their 32nd Issue came out at the start of the month, readers can bag a 18 track sampler into the bargain cover price of £1.50. Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, they’re now looking for 16 more suitably sleazy acts to contribute tracks to their first sampler CD of 2009. DC4 has entered Skull Seven Recording Studio with fame producers Bill Metoyer and Joey Vera to record additional tracks for the upcoming official release of Explode. The new tracks titled People and 25 to Life are being recorded and will be added along with a video and new artwork for an ‘enhanced’ CD package. Explode will see an official release in January of 2009. Plans for a CD Release Party and tour are currently in the works

Riotous UK Punk stars Gallows have teamed up with old friends Atticus Clothing for two very special pre-Christmas shows that will see them invade the East End of London and no doubt leave a trail of carnage in their wake! The band have been busy in the studio getting together their new album, but they will be taking a break at the start of December to give a lucky few a sneak preview of tracks from the album. The band will play at The Macbeth on the 1st of Dec, and then at the Old Blue Last the following night on the 2nd. This will be the first time that fans get to hear many of the tracks that the band have been recording for their second album, due April 2009, and the only chance for people to see the band live until they head out to tour the album. Tickets are now on sale from the bands myspace and will be very limited! No supports have been confirmed for the show as of yet. Atticus Clothing have worked with the band from early on, and indeed hosted a previous show at the Old Blue Last for the band, which was hailed as one of the top 100 gigs of all time by Kerrang Magazine earlier this year. The brand are also set to release a co-branded shirt with Gallows guitarist Laurent Barnard earlier next year. The brands AW09 range is out now and available from URL

Florida based outfit X-Thirtien has signed on with Chavis Records for their debut release ‘You’re Next’. Two years in the making, ‘You’re Next’ is a concept album that tells the saga of good versus evil, a man transformed into superman, in conjunction with a band transformed into a super band. X-Thirtien is taking the album concept and transforming it into a full stage production and heading out on the road bringing the show to the fans. The demand for the band continues to increase. X-Thirtien tour dates will begin in 09 throughout the States and may also include shows in Canada, Europe, Japan, South America and Australia

The Wildhearts are looking for a couple of street-teamers for each town in the December tour, to give out flyers and put up posters in the next couple of weeks before the shows. In particular, if anyone in the following towns fancies helping their favourite band out: Sheffield, Manchester, Wolverhampton, Glasgow, Oxford and London they should email Street Team and put the city they can help with in the subject header. Someone will then get in touch with them and arrange flyers/posters. In other news, Ginger has made his second appearance on ‘Red Eye’ on the Fox News Network. Innerpartysystem have wowed crowds on both sides of the Atlantic with their melding of dance and rock elements but check out the following video to see a more stripped down version of their forthcoming single ‘Don’t Stop’ involving the use of iPhones. In other IPS News, the band also have a remix of Katy Perry’s ‘Hot N Cold’ which will be released next week on her single in both CD and digital formats

New Generation Superstars took New York by storm and went down a blast! They send their thanks to everyone involved in NYC Cruefest and everyone who turned out to see them there. “Things are a little quiet at the moment as we knuckle down finishing the long awaited follow-up to “Crash Course”, we have a couple of gigs to round up 2008, and it would be excellent if everyone could make The Sitwell gig, as it will be the last gig of a triumphant 2008! In January we will be playing in London with Swedish Rockers Violent Divine, and also Helsinki in March! Keep your eyes peeled for more news”

Baddies video for debut single “battleships” was voted in at number 1 in the MTV2 myspace chart! A brand spanking new track entitled “Holler for my holiday” has been demo’d at Towers Bad and has now been uploaded on to their myspace for you all to check out and finally, this week, Baddies will be venturing into Europe for the first time. Seventh Rize has signed on with Chavis Records for the release of ‘Full Moon’. ‘Full Moon’ is set to be released in February 2009. Seventh Rize performed live on VH1 in July at an event for ‘Bret Michaels – Rock Of Love’ alumni – Rodeo, which led the band to write and record the track ‘To Love Rodeo, To Win Rodeo’. Impressed with the track, VH1 has decided to license the track and use it with a future show. A CD release party is currently being planned with the first single ‘Full Moon’ going to radio December 2nd

The second “Make A Noise” memorial concert will be held on the 26th November at Heywood Civic Centre, Lancashire, UK at 7.30, ending with a minute of NOISE at 12 midnight.
