Drugdealercheerleader have decided to play one more spooktacular show this year on Halloween with Patchwork Grace at Junktion 7, Nottingham, UK. Everyone will be dressed up and looking rather dead or bloody so make the effort and for a fiver you can’t go wrong

The new Wildhearts DVD ‘Live in the Studio’ is out now in all good record stores including HMV & Zavvi. You can also buy it online from Play. HMV, Amazon and Cargo. One other piece of news: The Wildhearts will be appearing at Klubi in Tampere, Finland on Friday 24th October as part of the Lost in Music showcase

Tony Harnell [TNT, Westworld] has confirmed his appearance at Z Rock 2009 on May 29th, his set will be a best of from his long and successful career with TNT, Westworld and much more. At long last, Zombina and the Skeletones third official studio album is available to buy! It’s called Out Of The Crypt And Into Your Heart, the songs are all really short, about monsters and graveyards and robots and all the usual stuff they like to sing about. It’ll still be tough to find everywhere except Germany (as it’s out on a German label, Fiendforce Records) for a little while, but keep your eyes peeled for further developments. To celebrate the album, Halloween and Zombina and the Skeletone’s 10th birthday, we’re setting off on a tour of Germany with Blitzkid, The Other and Der Fluch throughout the rest of October

DC4 vocalist/guitarist Jeff Duncan recently cut guitar tracks for a new ‘Dizzy Reed’ solo project. Jeff performs on the track ‘Mother Theresa’. Many know the name ‘Dizzy Reed’ as the keyboardist for ‘Guns & Roses’ and his super group ‘Hooker’s N Blow’. It was recently announced that the long awaited Gn’R release, ‘Chinese Democracy’, will see a release on November 23rd through an exclusive deal with Best Buy. As previously mentioned, DC4 signed on with Chavis Records for the release of ‘Explode’. The release has been pushed back to January 2009. Plans are currently in the works for an ‘Explode’ CD Release Party as well as a tour to support

Hinterland (New One-ticket Multi Venue Arts and Music Event) debuts in Glasgow, UK on 30th April and 1st May 2009. Hinterland’s primary aim is to showcase established and upcoming Scottish talent – as well as some of the UK’s best emerging and established talent – across 20 art and music venues in Glasgow. About 50% of all participants in Hinterland will be Scottish and the Hinterland Committee will advise upon the event line-up. Hinterland will be the first one ticket multi-venue all access event ever of this kind to be held in Glasgow. The model means that people buy a ticket to Hinterland and that ticket grants them access to any of the venues/events that are part of Hinterland. The Walkmen’s new single ‘The Blue Route’ release date changed to 10 November

Blackmarket will be playing a one off show at The Metro, London, UK on 3 November before jetting off as main support on The Subway’s European tour

M.E.P.R. are pleased to announce their new partnership with Red Lion Music in the UK. Red Lion Music from Germany have teamed up with ourselves and Pippa Moye at Rokkpool, to bring new, young artists Slick’s Kitchen, that feature the immense talents of Slick Prolidol (b) and Haan Hartmann (d) (both ex Traceelords), to the UK and to give the band a well earned press boost as they prepare for their 18 date tour with the Damned in December. The band currently has the six track EP “Half Evil – Half Album” available from their myspace page and this will be available on the tour

Hanoi Rocks have decided to break up by the end of the year 2008. Michael Monroe and Andy McCoy feel that they’ve taken the band as far as it can go and now wish to go their separate ways. All commitments until the end of the year, including the UK tour starting in London on Halloween, will naturally be honoured. In addition, the band has decided to say farewell to their fans by doing a final tour of Japan in the spring 2009 and immediately thereafter wrapping things up with a few nights at the Tavastia Club, Helsinki, Finland where their career originally got started in the 80′s. 26 November will see the timely release of the first ever career-spanning Hanoi Rocks retrospective: a 2-CD set titled “This One’s For Rock’n'Roll – The Best Of Hanoi Rocks 1980-2008″

Shinedown are set to release single ‘Devour’ on November 17 (digital November 10) via Atlantic Records. The track is taken from forthcoming album ‘The Sound Of Madness’, which will be released in March 2009. The band will also be returning to the UK in January
