On December 12th The Bermondsey Joyriders wrap up a busy year and present what now sadly seems likely to be a send-off for their days at The 100 Club. Rounding out the bill for the evening are a few favourite acts from past ‘Joyriders outing to No. 100 Oxford Street – punk ‘n’ roll mob The Resistants, Roxy club veterans The Plague, DJ Velvet Vespa, and the now-resident Bermondsey Dancing Girls. While this may be the last time they grace the stage, the 100 is nonetheless certain to feature The Bermondsey Joyriders’ 2011, with one of three releases planned for the new year being a live album, recorded at Rat’s first gig back in July. Additionally 2011 will bring a second studio album, which the band are currently recording with Cure producer David M Allen, and also a first solo release from Gary Lammin, with a little help from a few infamous friends.
