Skull Daze has posted two new songs, “Heartbreak City” and “Dirty Girl”, on the band’s MySpace page. The tracks are included in the group’s debut album, Skull Daze, released on May 14 in via Street Symphonies Records

Syracuse, NY’s Honor Bright has posted a new track off its forthcoming Triple Crown Records release Action! Drama! Suspense! on MySpace. Check out “Paper Thin Walls” at URL. Action! Drama! Suspense! was produced by former A Day To Remember guitarist Tom Denney and Go Radio front man Jason Lancaster (ex‐Mayday Parade). The album will be released July 20th on Triple Crown Records. To celebrate the release of the album, Honor Brightwill be playing a series of 8 special CD release shows on the East Coast

Punk rock’s leading independent label Epitaph Records has launched a new compilation series titled New Noise that will showcase the label’s amazing arsenal of bands and artists. The first in the series, New Noise Vol. 1 is available now at iTunes and all other digital media stores. Similar to Epitaph’s prestigious compilations of the past (see Punk-O-Rama and Give ‘Em the Boot), New Noise will offer fans a chance to check out music from some of the hottest bands around for a super low price. The Like release their Mark Ronson produced addictive new album ‘Release Me’ on August 30th through Polydor. In addition to their UK headline tour dates in September, they have also just been confirmed to appear at Reading and Leeds Festivals as well as international dates on tour with The Strokes. In case you missed me yabbering on excitedly about the recent single ‘He’s Not a Boy’, you can see the video here and there is also a video for album track ‘Fair Game’, directed by Sophia Coppola’s niece Gia Coppola for fashion designer Zac Posen that can be seen here

Chicago ’s Danger Is My Middle Name will be self-releasing its Giant Killer EP on August 10. The band’s new single “Here We Go” features guest vocals from Kevin Truckenmiller from Quietdrive, as well as Jake Scherer from New Medicine

The Gaslight Anthem released new album ‘American Slang’ on the 14th June and also uploaded the last in their series of video reports from the studio whilst recording the album. The Crash Moderns will be playing live tonight (22nd June) at Bowery Electric, 327 Bowery in NYC! This show is being hosted by NOYK Productions (also of Angels & Kings). Fresh from a successful three week tour of the States, Brit blooze-punks The Bermondsey Joyriders return once more to London’s legendary 100 Club for a special self-promoted show. On Friday 9th July guitarist/vocalist Gary Lammin and bassist Martin Stacey will welcome a special guest to the drum stool, in the shape of original Damned sticksman Rat Scabies, and as if that ain’t enough excitement for one night the trio will also be airing two brand new songs for the first time. UK’s powerpop rock group Teenage Casket Company have signed a North American deal with JAMSYNC MUSIC to release a full length project entitled ‘Best Kept Secret’. ‘Best Kept Secret’ is a complete revamp of the bands earlier recordings, completely retooled and re-mastered all in one project with a foreword written by Hardrock Haven freelance writer Derric Miller. ‘Best Kept Secret’ will see a late summer/early fall release and the band are in talks about a possible short US East Coast Tour to coincide
