Swiss hard rockers SHAKRA will release their new album, “Back On Track”, on February 25 via AFM Records.

Reunited hard rockers SPREAD EAGLE have announced the addition of guitarist Dennis Kimak (who has been collaborating with the band since 2008) and drummer Rik De Luca to the group’s ranks.

DIAMOND HEAD, AIRBOURNE, ARCHITECTS and WEEZER have been confirmed for the U.K. edition of the SONISPHERE FESTIVAL, set to take place July 8-10 at Knebworth.

ALICE COOPER has moved to deny rumours that he’s about to have a film made about his life and that he will be embarking on a farewell tour next year. In a post on his webesite it said: “To all you Sick Things out there. There was a completely false ˜news’ report in Veronica Radio’s online magazine in Holland today (Friday, January 28), claiming that there is a forthcoming movie on Alice’s life that will commence filming in February, and also that this year’s tour will be his last. Both of these ˜news’ reports are completely false! Please do not believe these rumours”.

AEROSMITH have returned to the studio to start work on their brand new album, but they’ve done it without their lead guitarist after he missed the first sessions. According to the NME singer Steven Tyler, guitarist Brad Whitford, bassist Tom Hamilton and drummer Joey Kramer teamed up for a series of jamming sessions at longtime collaborator Marti Frederiksen’s studio in Monrovia, California.

KISS have revealed that they will be hitting the studio in March to start work on their 20th studio album.
