2009 sees the return of Watford punks Gallows with their first new material since the release of the now-legendary ‘Orchestra Of Wolves’ album in 2006. Gallows second album is a swift upper-cut to the face of anyone expecting the band to have tamed their sound for mass consumption. If anything, Gallows sound nastier and more feral than ever before, but there’s a progression in the music that will smash any pre-conceived notions about the band to bits. KASMS new single available to download or on 7” picture disc, it’s the first track to be taken from their forthcoming debut album (due out in April). I guess you could say KASMS sound is Punk/Deathrock but they coined the genre “Shriekbeat” to describe their music. Taking in varied influences starting with dark, pulsating, rhythmic bands such as Trial, Crash Worship, Live Skull and better known dark 80s stuff such as Bauhaus and Death in June, they cite their sound as being more heavily skewed by recent Alternative American punk bands such as Subtonix, Nation of Ulysses and Six Finger Satellite

The NAMM show is again upon us. Alice Cooper will be blowing the roof off the Hilton Ballroom Saturday, January 17th at 10pm. Keri Kelli, as well as Cooper bassist Chuck Garric and Rob Zombie guitarist John 5, will be doing a signing Saturday, January 17th at 3:30 at the Coffin Case booth #4130.
