With only a week to go, the music community continues to pull together for our friend Scozz. Scozz, the drummer for Asphalt Valentine, is currently facing some difficult challenges. His wife and love of his life, Mary Beth is very ill. Aside from the obvious emotional struggles they both are facing, the medical costs have simply become overbearing. All we can do for the emotional challenges is hope for a speedy recovery and keep them both in our thoughts and prayers. For the financial challenges, we can do something… Chavis Records and Lane Productions in association with The Friends of Scozz Foundation announce the charity event, A Benefit For Mary Beth. The event is being held on March 21, 2008 at Shakers Nite Club in Cambridge, OH. Performing on this night will be Britny Fox, Asphalt Valentine, A Nervous Wreck, American Angel, The Dogs Divine plus a few additional friends. Tickets are $7.00 at the door. Paradise City opened the gates to an orchard of beautiful, glam sleaze rockers on Weds 12 March. Madame Jo Jo’s in the dark heart of Soho, London was the new location for the billed ‘Ultimate Hedonistic Rock Event’. This is no dark and dingy venue, far from it. Inside Jo Jo’s it is a throwback to a bygone era of glamour, with crimson velvet banquette seating and gilded art-deco balustrades. Madame Jo Jo’s stylishly retro interiors lend itself to the set of a Mötley Crüe Video or a LA Sunset Strip club of the decadent 80’s exactly what the organisers set out to achieve. Make sure to keep check on their website for updates on upcoming Paradise City events

Drugdealer Cheerleader News “First big thing we need to let you know is that due to some admin error our .com site is currently offline but have no fear you can still hear and see your favourite pop rock punk n roll doodz on the site and on myspace. The other big thing is that because of this daft computer nonsense our e-mails are also not working! Some of you have been asking about the single ‘Gimme Some Love’, the release date is being finalized as we speak and we’ll let ya have the news as soon as we know. We’ll be doing some dates to coincide too so if you’ve spotted any current dates, this is not the ‘big tour’. So… bass players then. Well after the stint with us on the road Laney had a great time but since he’s a ‘bass whore’ he’d already booked himself out with D-Generations’ Richard Bachus! So that unfortunately ruled him out on his ‘filling in’ duties with us. Now what???  Well let’s say we have a couple of irons in the fire and whatever happens we WILL be on tour with a new bassist in a couple of weeks… temporary? Permanent? Male? Female? We can’t say right now. Other news is that our London show will be FREE entry! That’s right FREE!  But what this means is that you’ll need to get there early or stand a chance of missing out. Any donations at the door will be given to the Fire Brigade in recognition of their brave efforts keeping us safe from the flames last time around

Rob Lane (Teenage Casket Co.) will be back out on tour from next Thursday playing bass for Richard Bacchus & the Luckiest Girls, all over the UK!
