“Some of you have been wondering no doubt what has been going on with DdCL since the last UK tour with The Pleasures. Well first of all, it was a fantastic tour and thanks so much to those of you who came out and rocked at the shows. We all agree that this was the most enjoyable tour we’ve ever done. It was pretty ambitious playing nearly all our back catalogue over the course of the tour but boy it was fun! So, here’s what’s up in 2010! We’ve decided that after 10 years of touring/recording it’s time to take a bit of personal time out for the first half of the year. We have pretty much an albums worth of new material written (some of which we’ve been playing live and has been lapped up by you guys!) but we have decided to kick back and do some different things then come back refreshed and hungrier than ever later this year. Here’s what we’re all doing: Bomber is playing some shows with his AC/DC tribute act ‘Bad Boy Boogie’. Jay will be working on new material, brewing loads of ale and building cars! Ringo is managing upcoming UK upstarts ‘Patchwork Grace’. Hilda has started a side project called ‘The Needful Things’ which
consists of members of Teenage Casket Company/Bulletboys (Laney 74), Kitty Hudson/Dead Identities (Keef), Phluid (Oz) and Badaxe (Nik Xander)”
